Murphy’sMom
I am Andrea Bledsoe King and an Adult Services Librarian in Memphis, TN, which basically means that all the programs I once did for teens I now do for adults. One day, I hope to write for a living and volunteer at the library, but I don’t rule the world — yet. I have been married to my best friend, Neale, since 2009. In 2013, we adopted a shelter dog who is half pit bill, half basset hound, half beagle, and half everything else. We named him Murphy and have spoiled him rotten from day one and quite proud to be Murphy’s Mom and Dad (hence my pen name). I love to read books with strong female characters such as V.C. Andrews novels, Rona Jaffe’s books, and Emma Donoghue’s stories. I also love solid YA novels. But above all else, GO, DOG, GO by P.D. Eastman will always have a special place in my heart. Robert no longer in San Diego
Robert in San Diego is a middle-aged, avid reader of non-fiction, genre fiction, and children’s books. When not working his “day” job in the floral industry he advocates for improved active transportation infrastructure and education. As a result, there is a lot of bike-related books in his to read pile. He considers coffee and tea to be separate food groups, and he reads a lot of coffee and tea related books, too.
